Property type
An office in the STONE Savyolovskaya business centre, Moscow. Area: 93.3 m².
Who the design is for
Global Construction, its team, director and visitors.
What mattered to the client
To create a practical workspace with a reception, an open-plan work area, a separate director’s office, storage and a coffee point. To retain a sense of space and natural daylight, connect all areas through a shared palette and give the entrance a distinctive identity.
Project highlights
Reception shapes the first impression. A light-coloured desk on a graphite base is lit along its lower edge, making the volume appear lighter and emphasising its geometry. Behind it, a textured wall bearing the company logo is framed by vertical slats and warm lines of light.
The waiting area feels intimate and soft. A pale sofa with rounded forms and a relief wall panel balance the office’s precise architecture. A glossy deep-blue console with sculptural supports and a black table lamp introduces a distinct colour accent. This small composition gives the entrance its own identity.
Glass partitions with slim black profiles separate reception, the open-plan workspace and the director’s office while maintaining visual connections between them. Horizontal frosted bands provide a degree of privacy and also carry the wayfinding. Large windows and city views remain visible through the transparent surfaces.
In the work areas, the graphite open-cell ceiling echoes the rhythm of the partitions. Light walls and flooring create a contrast, while recessed linear lights emphasise the perspective along the circulation area. Tall dark cabinet fronts with illuminated niches bring storage together in one composition. Images of architectural projects on the walls continue the interior’s professional theme.
The coffee point is designed as a small place to pause during the working day. Compact cabinetry, a bar-height counter, upholstered seats and open shelves with warm lighting make it suitable for a short break and conversation. The textured wall and vertical slats connect this part of the office with reception.
The resulting interior
The interior is light, calm and graphic. Its character comes from the combination of transparent glass, deep dark surfaces, warm wood tones and soft lighting.
Reception sets the first impression, the work areas retain their openness, and the coffee point adds everyday comfort. Every part of the office shares the same architectural logic and attention to detail.
Furniture layout from the design documentation
Five zones. One spatial logic.
The entrance is next to reception. Workstations and the director’s office occupy the brighter part of the unit; the coffee point and storage sit along the inner wall.
