The clients wanted a calm, neutral interior with restrained classical details in the finishes, furniture and lighting.
American classical interiors bring together open living spaces, substantial furniture and neutral colours. Light, natural shades therefore form the basis of the palette.
Lighting is arranged by zone: large multi-arm chandeliers give the living and dining rooms a sense of occasion, while table lamps, decorative lights, floor lamps and wall lights create more intimate areas.
The main bedroom centres on a large solid-wood bed with a tall headboard, complemented by a chest of drawers, dressing table and bedside tables. In the kitchen, the island serves as both a work surface and a place to eat.
Decoration is restrained: fresh flowers, cushions, paintings, framed photographs, sculptures and books provide a welcoming atmosphere. A fireplace with a white Bianco Carrara marble surround completes the interior, evoking warmth, comfort and family life.
