An apartment in one of Moscow’s historic central neighbourhoods.
What mattered to the client
A family with three children. The main task was to make the best use of the space so that each child could have a separate room. We achieved this by making one child’s room a walk-through space and combining the living room with the parents’ bedroom.
A functional, welcoming interior where every family member would feel comfortable. It was important to preserve a sense of space and harmony despite the multifunctional zoning.
Each child’s room has its own colour palette. The son’s room uses restrained grey and brown tones to create a calm, comfortable atmosphere. The elder daughter’s room is finished in fresh blue and turquoise, bringing lightness and energy. The younger daughter’s bedroom combines soft pink and grey, reflecting her gentle, imaginative nature.
The combined living room and parents’ bedroom was designed with carefully separated zones to remain comfortable and stylish.
The apartment is stylish, contemporary and practical. A classical foundation with contemporary design elements reflects the neighbourhood’s historic character while creating a comfortable, welcoming home.
